WHAT QUALIFIES IN YOUR SECTOR

Understanding the opportunity

Who it’s for?

Establish is specifically designed for start-up companies in their first 3 years of trading who are looking to inject capital back into their business. In most cases, this will be the first time a business has made an R&D tax claim.

What is the process?

As a startup, we recognise that time is your most valuable commodity, therefore, we have a bespoke process for our Establish clients that reduces the amount of time you need to invest in the claim process. We work through a simple 5 step process:

  1. Scoping meeting
  2. Video workshop onboarding
  3. Workshop conducted at Kene Partners HQ or via video conference.
  4. 2-week turnaround
  5. All supporting documentation provided by Kene Partners

Benefits

Flexible meeting hours

We know that as the owner of a startup “normal business” hours don’t exist. In order to make the R&D tax process as simple as possible, we have adopted flexible meeting hours, meaning we can meet you before the office opens or in the evening, whenever is most convenient to you.

Education around other reliefs, such as grants and patents.

The UK Government provides a wide range of grants and relief schemes that are set up to specifically support the growth of startup businesses. Your dedicated team will work with you to identify any additional reliefs, grants or patents that you could access outside of the R&D tax relief scheme to increase the amount of operating capital within your business.

Free defence

In the event that HMRC disputes a claim, Kene Partners will act on your behalf free of charge to defend the claim.

Low risk

At Kene Partners we don’t believe that you should have to pay for our services unless your claim is successful.

Dedicated project manager

Each client is assigned a dedicated project manager who will work with your business from onboarding through to delivery of your claim. This ensures you have a constant and consistent point of contact throughout the process that knows and understands your business.

The process we work through

Who it’s for?

Enhance is specifically designed for companies who are already claiming R&D tax relief but feel that they could be underclaiming.

What is the process?

We approach the Enhance process by looking at four key factors, Risk, Process, Size and Value. This enables us to uniquely identify areas of your business where eligible activity is occurring but may not have been identified within previous claims. At Kene Partners our aim is to reduce the amount of resource and time our clients invest in the R&D claim process, adopting a simple 5 step process which minimises client involvement.

  1. 15-point health check
  2. Bespoke workshop preparation process
  3. Onsite workshop
  4. All supporting documentation provided by Kene Partners
  5. 6-week turnaround
